Grace means

A simple elegance or refinement of movement.

God is the mastermind of grace and it is from Him that all grace flows.

Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God, when we are in relationship with Him.  Mercy denies the penalty we deserve while grace provides a blessing we haven’t earned.

We understand or experience grace every day as being unconditionally and totally accepted by God without question or condition.  God recognizes us, cherishes us and guards us from evil, as we are His children.
