Build Your Relationships

My Jesus and Me

Relationship with God

Our actions and how we respond to situations should indicate there is something different about a Christian.  Most people don’t realize Christians are imperfect humans however the world expects us to be perfect. Anyone can ask God into their heart however we ought to be living like Jesus did.  If we did we would look and act differently from the world.

What does it really mean to have a relationship with God?  Is it just calling yourself a “Christian”?  Attending church and believing in God did not make me a real believer.  The following are a good place to start.

  1. Accepting Jesus as your Savior, having a relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
  2. Asking Forgiveness for my sins and forgiving those who sin against me.
  3. Maintaining communication: Reading from the Word and praying
  4. Sharing and caring with our families, neighbors and the world.

Creating Action and Good Reactions

Everyone wants to know “God’s will” for your life?  Wish we had all the answers?

I have learned God gives us answers to “His will” in our actions and reactions, moving toward a goal.  I spent many years waiting for “His will” to hit me over the head or falling into my lap, creating a life in limbo with no results.  Sound about right?

What a Friend We have in Jesus

What a Friend We have in Jesus

Keep living life and good communication with the Father and He will guide our steps.  I am still working on perfecting it, probably always will.

My point is stay focused on God, keep moving and Gods plan for you will fall into place.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father please keep me focused on you always!  Let my actions and reactions be honorable to you.

Reflection

How do you maintain your relationship with God?

Are you making progress keeping the relationship constant and alive?
