Christianity Is A Process

My Jesus and Me

Christianity Is A Process

Have you noticed that in life as a Christian we are always learning or relearning in a fresh way what we already knew?  The last few weeks our church started a new study “True Spirituality” formerly “Living On the Edge” by Chip Ingram.  Powerful study!  He shares new insights on living as God intended for us to live in a world pulling us in different directions.  God’s best is waiting for those who live in a love based relationship with Him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2, NLT)

What I love about being a Christian is that I can learn new things about myself, my God and being a Christian.  The story and my God never changes but what is revealed to me does.  Simply put, my focus is now on a love based relationship with the Father and learning to trust Him.

My Prayer

Lord, Do not let the world mold me but transform and fill me up with your best.

Reflection Question

How are you transforming your walk with God?
