Easter The Morning of Discovery! Jesus Arose!
John 20 (NLT) from BibleGateway.com
The Resurrection
John 20 Early on Sunday morning,[a] while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.2 She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
Spend a few moments to finish the chapter.
I found this small poem being passed around on Facebook. I thought I would share with you.
Greatest man in history named Jesus, he had no servants,
yet they called Him Master.
He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
Jesus is the Answer!
Today I plan to take time today in church, in God’s Word and talking with Him. It’s not just about the food but we will enjoy it. Wish I could be with all my family but we are spread out to far.
Happy Resurrection Day! May God Bless you richly!
