Love makes the world go round!  – To love one another is God’s most important command!

I am very saddened to hear of the continued shootings and unrest across the states, either because of race or they wear the blue uniform.  To me neither reason is acceptable.  We must teach our children differently.

We have taken God out of our nation and our moral souls.  It has gotten us nothing but mistrust, isolation and misery.  I feel it is time for Christians and the world to love everyone, no matter what color, size, nationality or religion.

I do not understand hatred for another because of the color of their skin.  I grew up in a multi-culturally divided school and neighborhood where the same amount of students were white, black, Hispanic and Asian.   We did not hate the other, we were equals.  We saw the difference in skin but it was nothing bad and we did not expect it to be.  We mixed and became friends because it was what you did, how we were brought up.

God said for us to love one another above everything.  Jesus also taught us to love one another.  It is simple and basic but it seems we can’t get it right.  We as a nation should love our neighbors but are being separated constantly by categorizing us into race.  Everything we do they ask what race we are.

We are of the same race, the human race created by God, neither race is any better or worse than the other.

Our life’s most important purpose is to show love, be love and give love!  To everyone!

My prayer is that we change our motto, ”it’s all about me” to loving and the acceptance of everyone.  I think with our focus on others and on God we will be less suspicious and scary all around.

Oh Lord, Please forgive us for straying from your purpose.  Lead us back to living and loving one friendship at a time!
