Prayer – Word of the Day

Prayer is having a conversation with God; communication between your soul and God, not contemplating or meditating, but in direct address to him. A person’s prayers may vary from another but fits their relationship with God.

Prayer may be spoken a loud or mental, occasional or constant, emotional or formal. Types of prayers

you will find scripture throughout the Bible for: pleading, pouring out the soul, seeking God or making a request, drawing near to God and bowing of the knees prayers.  Some will lay everything down before the Lord stretched out giving their all to Him.

Prayer is frequently commanded in Scripture in Old and New Testament.  Jesus showed us by example how to pray during His life on Earth.  Prayer, reading God’s Word and Worship are most important to connecting with God in a person’s life.
