A Change of Heart! 

For many of us our hearts and minds are off kilter, me centered, full of fear and anger.  It is time for a heart change and every good change begins with prayer.

Pastor Green at Community Church God has a message from the Word of God and his permission to share.  The essence of his message “Bothered In The Wine Press” is when Israel turned from the living God to follow the god’s of the land. They broke promise with the God that delivered them, protected and blessed them so God removed his hand of protection and blessings.  When he did the enemy came in and wrought devastation for 7 years.

They cried out to the living God for help.  God listened and confronted Israel with their sin, but didn’t stop there.

God engaged a plan, chose a man to man the plan, a team to go with his leader.  He worked a miracle which motivated a movement in the tribes of Israel.  They rose up to join God’s team and when they finished working the plan the devastation ended, a nation was saved and had 40 years of peace.

Our Promise is

¹³ “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, ¹⁴  if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  (2 Chronicles 7:13-14 ) NIV

America, like Israel has turned its back on the God that established this nation and God has begun to lift His hand of blessing and protection.

The problems in our nation are so great that no political party is the answer and while we need to pray for God’s leading as to whom to vote for, what is truly needed is for a miracle that will bring our nation back to God.

God’s Plan for America

Pray that God himself would ponder and put in place a plan.  That he would select the men and women needed to man the plan as leaders, choose teams and work a miracle that will motivate the masses to rise up and finish what God started.
