Standing In The Gap – Word of the Day

Standing in the Gap – Word of the Day

The gap is the need that cannot be fulfilled themselves.  The function of a bridge is to “close the gap” between two destination points or persons.

God is looking for those willing to stand in for those who cannot stand for themselves, we are that someone – are you willing?

The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy,

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NLT)

Pray for our leaders, our families and our neighbors.  Link to “A Change of Heart” blog with a 9 minutes twice a day prayer plan

Standing in the Gap – Some of the lyrics

I’ll be standing in the gap for you
Just remember someone somewhere
Is praying for you
Calling out your name
Praying for your strength
I’ll be standing in the gap for you
