Illuminate – Word of the Day

Illuminate – Word of the Day

  1. to supply or brighten with light; light up.
  2. to make understandable, clarify.
  3. to decorate with lights, as in celebration.
  4. to enlighten, as with knowledge. Intellectually or spiritually enlightened
  5. to adorn; make resplendent or illustrious; such as a book or lettering.

Simply, illumination in the spiritual sense is “turning on the light” of understanding.  When you are dealing with understanding and applying knowledge is to illuminate.
