Limbo Anyone?

My Jesus and Me

Limbo Anyone?

How many times I have said “What does God want for my life?”  Or “I want to do it God’s way”.  Then find myself waiting and waiting, wondering when God will answer.  I have found God’s will is your growth in being Christ like.  Growing is participating, setting goals and taking action.

So what does that really mean?  It is living life as best you can making good choices that follow Jesus’ examples and God will direct the outcome for His and your blessing.

If you think about it.  We don’t tell our children every decision to make.  We let them choose and make mistakes.  God does not care what we do only that we do it with love, be honorable and act as Christ did.

It may feel pretty radical to trust in God solely.  He sees directory-466935_960_720to our every need so we can be focused on now and not worry about the future.  But it sure makes life easier than living in limbo “waiting to hear” from God.  Many years I waited wondering what He wanted.  I went nowhere because I either did not make a move or I got tired of waiting for God and took charge and did it my way, only to end up in more of a mess than if I had followed Jesus’ example and His Word.

33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things will be given to you too. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Living faithfully is a large enough task for today.  (Matt 6:33-34) The Voice

So stay in His Word, follow Christ’s examples and take action by living your life.  God will bring blessings upon you.  Trust in Him and you will have great results.  It won’t be perfect but God does not promise a rose garden.

Heavenly Father, may your will be done!  Thank you for guiding my footsteps on our journey.
