Peace, Healing and Joy
Where is Peace?
Anger, hatred, fear and strife are consuming our lives and hearts. I am very concerned at the disturbances and defamation that continue in our cities for years and keep getting worse.
When will people act like adults instead of spoiled children? We should be good examples to our children teaching good behavior and expect the same from others too. Instead many show how to hate and encourage violence.
When people started removing God from their lives they exchanged good morals such as love and respect for hatred and bitterness.
You know what they say “you reap what you sow”? It is time to turn the negative into a positive. Show love, respect and care to yourself, your neighbor, family and friends and you will receive the same back.
Healing Mindset
Changing your mindset will bring joy into your life. By offering words of healing, peace and acceptance will become standard procedure.
It sounds cliché but if we all change how we act and react, then expect the same from others, we can accomplish our goal and heal hearts.
Living Joyfully
Having joy is not about receiving something new but of discovering a new way of seeing. By working together instead of separately allows joy to spread and multiply within our lives. Having joy empowers me to hold my peace when people say and do unpleasant things.
20 Yes, brother, may I have joy from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ. Philemon 1:20 HCSB
Jesus showed compassion and love for all people, he gave and gave of himself always. I am sure he had an aura of peace and love surrounding him that many wanted as well.
My prayer
Lord of Lords, fill our land with peace and love so we can be filled with your abundant joy.
