Peace – Word of the Day

Peace – Word of the Day

is a state of tranquility or quiet: such as a freedom from civil disturbance.

It is harmony in personal relationships.

Peace is a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of animosity.

Lost Peace

In America for the first time in my life it feels like we are at war with our own citizens.  I am shocked, embarrassed and a little uncertain to what is going to happen.  My beliefs and upbringing considers the disturbances happening are not a commendable direction or reaction to how we move forward.  We will only falter more if the disruption and hatefulness continues.

Finding Harmony

I ask that we all stop or pause before saying or doing hurtful things of anyone.  Don’t be so quick to make judgments.  The constant turmoil and negativity causes stress for everyone.  Think of your children, do we really want to teach our children to hate or break the law?  My prayer is that we bring peace and joy back into our lives and create a positive place again for everyone.

18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.  Romans 12:18 (NLT)

So let us pursue what makes peace and mutual building up of each other instead of tearing each other down as in Romans 14:19.  Open up a positive line of communication not condemnation. The time is now, what are you waiting for?  Show love not anger.
