Control or A Spin Out

Ever lose control of your life?  Whether it be eating, your temper, spending or whatever we indulge in too much that gets out of control.  I have been in a battle with my eating causing my weight and health to be spinning out of control for years.  I know it is not what God desires.  Trying on my own to get a grip on proportions and type of foods I enjoy is not working.  But I seriously need to seize control now by releasing it to God.

Without control over our urges we are often attacked by our desires and impulses to lash out.  It can breakdown your body, relationships and life in general, affecting everyone around you.

Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint.  (Proverbs 25:28 WEB)

God has been encouraging me to put my trust in Him, to release my tight reign on my bad habits and let Him take over.

I have failed on my own terms to accomplish any goal I set.  I want to take back control by giving control back to God.

I don’t want to be a victim of my own making any more.
