Transformation means

A thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance. A metamorphosis in life, a renewal.

Can also be the act of changing your life direction or to be transformed into a likeness of Christ when his love shines through us. Sometimes we are changed outwardly because of what has changed inwardly.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 2:2 NASB
