Jesus is our hope in the world!  He broke down barriers that divide, cause antagonism and distrust.  As believers we can live in harmony and trust with hope and peace in what God shows and promises us daily.

Seems we have forgotten why Christ came here and what happened afterward coming full circle to the times in the Bible.  We are separated from God by our sin, exiled to be separate nations until Jesus conquered death.  Sound familiar?

Some of the world’s laws build walls separating groups and people that do not encourage mixing and sharing with each other.  Causing strife and anger in life.

Jesus can fill the world with love and acceptance that will break any barrier down if you let Him.  The scripture below paints a pretty accurate picture of now and then.

¹² remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

¹⁴ For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, (Ephesians 2:12-14, NIV)

Christ created unity and balance within community and nations.  As believers we are to be unique individuals within a family of believers who work, live and love together in peace.
